Design has always been a part of my world. As a young adult, I started as a graphic designer, then moved into my own space with a marketing company that served the real estate industry. I toured thousands of homes, mentally cataloging the good, the bad, and the “oh, no way” in home design. This led me down the path of interior design and then a full-service remodeler. Hurricane Ike hit our island in 2008, and our community had a high demand for short-term rentals. Seeing this immediate need, we began offering turnkey packages that converted condos and homes into short-term rentals. After over 15 years in the STR world, we have curated master lists of must-haves for STRs. From design, home themes, furniture, kitchens, decor, and consumables, we have a recommendation for all.
